BARBARA PANARESE, THE ITALIAN QUEEN OF MUSCULAR SWEETNESS
Barbara Panarese is a practical example of an athlete who has been able to combine all the sweetness expected from a woman to a great deal of resoluteness. This particular attitude has become one of the most important reasons of her fast body change.
Her coach Jimmy Pedemonte says: “At seeing at Barbara at the beginning of her training career, nobody would foresee a successfull future for her. In spite of being a skinny girl with narrowed shoulders, with time and dedication she has changed into a well known top competitor at the international level.”
She has gained international reputation at her first IFBB contest in 2006, where she conquered a solid 3rd place at the European Master Championships in Siberia.
Less than one year later, she has been able to win the title of Master World Champion, in the bodyfitness category, in Budapest 2007. Her perfectly balanced proportions combined with an exciting V-shape have made the difference with the other superb contestants.
Barbara, 36, lives in Brindisi in southern Italy. She has always trusted a lot on her strong desire to become some day a champion bodybuilder. She has always been completely involved in the sport and absolutely at her ease in this context.
Deep inside herself, Barbara has always known that her road would have been hard and never escaped any deprivations. But what makes Barbara so unique as a human being is that if on one side she has developed a positive persistency to reach her top, on the other side she has remained the same sweet, careful, good natured lady she has always been.
And with the help of his husband Luca Iacobucci, two times World Champion in Classic Bodybuilding, her dreams have come true.
