Websense® Security Labs(TM) has received reports of a new phishing attack that targets customers of four Italian banks. The banks targeted are: Credem, Banca Carige, Credito Valtellinese, and RAS Bank. Users are lured into a fake login page and are asked to provide login details. All four URLs redirect to the same web server, which redirects the main window of the legitimate bank sites after user details have been provided.
These phishing sites are hosted in the United States and were down at the time of this alert.
