ma anche sottoporlo a qualche italiano bravo in inglese ( e su bw ce ne sono un po) mi farebbe piacere.....

Watching television
In today’s world watching television seems to be one of the most common teenagers hobby. According to a 2006 research , European guys aged between 14 and 18 watch television for 6 hours per day on average, and comparing this result with the one of some similar researches carried out from 2000 to 2005 , we could easily notice that the amount of time teenagers spend glued to television has increased continuously by unless 30 minute per year.
Twenty years ago teenagers spent most part of their spare time outside , doing sports , or simply playing with their friends while nowadays they prefer killing time alone , in their room watching television or playing videogames. Some of the most important sociologists in the world issue that lots of these teenagers could manifest problems in relating to other people and could be more inclined to commit antisocial behavior. Moreover there is an undeniable connection between the increase in the time teenagers spend at home and the rise of their obesity rate.
On the other hand , studies conducted in French from 1960 to 2000 show a marked growth In teenagers IQ level in the last fifteen years and for the majority of the scientists this growth can’t have been caused just by an strong improvement in education standards . Television seems to be able to stimulate intensely teenagers brain and to give it lots of interesting cues.
In my opinion children shouldn’t be forbidden to watch television , but this household appliance should be considered as an educational instrument , therefore ,parents should decide what television shows their children can watch , and what they can’t
