Shawn Rhoden out of 2020 Mr. Olympia – Report.
The roller coaster life of 2018 Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden, continues with more drama and confusion.
It has been reported by Nick Trigili on his recent podcast that Shawn Rhoden most probably will not be competing at the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
This is not something new to report as Nick also confirms, but the new details that Nick has revealed confirms that Rhoden is 99% out of the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
Evolutionofbodybuilding.net can confirm that Nick Trigili has very reliable sources is relation to this story.
Even though the Olympia is approximately five months away, these new developments can derail any plans Rhoden has in relation to the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
There are three major factors to this story that are very interesting.
Shawn Rhoden has left Venice, California and moved to Oxnard with his girlfriend. Oxnard is approximately a hour away with no traffic from Gold’s Gym, Venice.




It has been reported that not having a major sponsor and high living expenses has forced Rhoden to make the move.
With Shawn Rhoden living away from Venice, he will not be training with Charles Glass.
Charles Glass has been Shawn’s coach for a number of years after he parted ways with Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis
Charles is one of the best motivators and with Shawn not having him by his side, he will surely suffer during his prep.
The third factor that will make it very difficult for Rhoden to prep for the 2020 Mr. Olympia is that his best friend and training partner Stanimal De Longeaux, has moved to Chicago.
Stanimal has been by Rhoden’s side for many years. Living in Venice, California can be very expensive and this is one of the reasons he has decided to move.
Building a new team approximately five months away from the 2020 Olympia Weekend will be a difficult task. These major changes will obviously hinder Shawn’s prep for the show.
Rhoden also has to deal with the legal problems due to the rape charges against him.
With all these new developments, it could possibly mean that Rhoden will most probably be missing from the 2020 Olympia lineup.

A me risulta sia stato squalificato / bannato dal mr o per via delle accuse , siccome non c'è stato ne processo ne accordo tra le parti la sistuazione è teoricamente invariata

A me risulta sia stato squalificato / bannato dal mr o per via delle accuse , siccome non c'è stato ne processo ne accordo tra le parti la sistuazione è teoricamente invariata

mi si è bloccato il cellulare mentre scrivevo.
Dice diverse cose invece, rispetto all'altro approfondimento (che sembra motivare l'assenza di Shawn dalla mancanza di trainer e soldi...).
La decisione di radiare Rhoden è stata dell'ex Ceo David Pecker (tra l'altro fatto fuori di recente lui stesso dalla direzione di American Media). Ora la proprietà dell'evento Olympia (e non solo) è nelle mani Jake Wood che avrebbe avuto un incontro con Shawn e da lì è iniziata la preparazione.
Dice inoltre che Shawn ha trovato un altro sponsor, che è seguito da Aceto e (aggiungo io) nel video in cui lavora con la pressa dell'altro giorno si vede che sta lavorando con lui Clay Slay ex collaboratore di Charles Glass.
D'altra parte non penso spenderebbe migliaia di euro in preparazione se non avesse rassicurazioni in merito alla sua partecipazione.
Anyway, vedremo.

Piuttosto mi è venuto un dubbio sulla gara di Alicante e la qualificazione di Muzi. Il regolamento dice "Athletes are not moved up if a position becomes vacated"
Rimane il discorso che se i primi 3 si qualificano si levano dalla classifica a punti (vedi i recenti vincitori), ma non vorrei che il quarto classificato prendesse i punti del quarto classificato e non del primo. E dato che questa gara è classificata di "secondo livello" i punti sono :
4 per il 2°, 3 per 3°, 2 per il 4° ed 1 per il 5°.
Sostanzialmente se non fa il podio, con 1 o 2 punti a disposizione la classifica si muove poco e rischia di non bastare.

Assolutamente. Lo hanno fatto capire pure Presti e Sassi: se Muzi becca la condizione è lui il migliore in Italia. Anche l'altezza di quasi 1.80 per me (diciamo per i miei gusti) è un punto a suo favore.
