Negli stacchi sumo il bilanciere (a parte prese miste) si prende normalmente, con presa supina, davanti il corpo.
Il fatto è che si tengono maggiormente le gambe divaricate, la schiena quasi verticale durante tutta l'alzata e la presa all'interno delle gambe.
